In order to strengthen its international presence, in 2007 Yuanta entered the Vietnamese market by taking a stake in The First Securities, a Vietnamese broker. Yuanta participated in The First Securities by injecting capital via its fully-owned subsidiary – Yuanta Securities Asia Financial Services (YSAF), and currently holds a 44.68% stake in the company.
