Yuanta Savings Bank Korea Co., Ltd., formerly known as “Hanshin Savings Bank”, was established in 1988 and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Yuanta Bank in 2016. In 2017, the institution was renamed “Yuanta Savings Bank Korea Co., Ltd.” To further strength Yuanta Group’s presence in the Korean market, Yuanta Financial Holdings acquired all shares of Yuanta Savings Bank Korea Co., Ltd. In November 2025, Yuanta Savings Bank Korea Co., Ltd. became Yuanta Financial Holdings’ first overseas subsidiary directly under the financial holding company.
Yuanta Savings Bank Korea Co., Ltd. has total assets of KRW 662.3 billion and operated two branches in Korea, located in Gangnam-gu and Jung-gu. The bank is committed to providing customers with more convenient financial services. Its primary business focuses on offering household and SME financial services in Korea in accordance with local savings bank regulations, including deposit-taking, lending, and other financing services, to meet customers’ diverse financial needs.
