Caring for Our Employees

Professional talent is at the core of corporate and social development. It is the base upon which companies achieve their strategic goals and the motivating force that drives companies forward. With growing challenges such as the rise of fintech, brain drain, and talent shortages, the Group is constantly working on the selection, training, application, and retention of talent, strengthening our talent management and optimizing our staff quality structure in response to the global competition for talent.

As a financial institution that rose through the securities business, Yuanta now looks to expand its operational systems and scale in the wake of the acquisitions of Yuanta Life and Ta Chong Bank. In terms of attracting talent, in recent years we have held recruitment drives at college campuses, providing students with internship opportunities and establishing strong cooperative relationships with the academic world, as well as setting up a social media presence. Through our ongoing reinforcement of what makes Yuanta different, we seek out people who work well in teams, handle pressure well, are willing to learn and keep up with the times, and whose goals are in line with those of the Company.

In line with corporate strategy, expansion in overseas markets, and the rise of digital finance, the Company aims to help each member of our team tap into their strengths through a comprehensive training system and career development planning, coupled with a Management Associate training program, ongoing training in professional and digital skills, and job rotation opportunities so as to play to each employee’s professional strengths and retain outstanding talent.

We are committed to protecting the rights and interests of our staff and to creating a safe, healthy working environment. Beyond simply providing the protections we are legally obliged to, we also have a robust communications platform, comprehensive and reasonable remuneration policy, and a dedication to creating win-win situations for staff and the Company. In this way, every member of our team is able to find enjoyment in their work, and be a proud member of the Yuanta family.

To gain a more comprehensive understanding of employee perspectives, since 2017, the Company has commissioned an international management consulting firm through its Human Resources Department to conduct the Employee Sustainable Engagement Survey (also known as the Employee Opinion Survey or Employee Engagement Survey). Starting in 2019, the survey has been conducted biennially, and beginning in 2025, it has transitioned to an annual survey.

In April 2025, a total of 14,688 employees worldwide were invited to participate in the survey. This initiative provided in-depth insights into employee experience, sustainable engagement, retention intent, corporate brand image, integrity, and risk culture. Male respondents accounted for 40.46% of the total, while female respondents comprised 59.54%. The overall participation rate of 90% for both domestic and international employees that year was the highest on record, demonstrating colleagues’ recognition and trust in the survey. Furthermore, 86% of colleagues across the entire Group exhibited high levels of engagement. This successfully reflects that employee training, welfare, rewards and recognition, and brand image have all gained high apperception from colleagues.

Based on survey findings indicating that employees are more focused on horizontal communication issues, the Company has disseminated information through its official website and digital publications. We have also organized diverse formats such as workshops, online and in-person learning courses, and other collaborative approaches—from promotional campaigns to successful case studies—to foster a culture of horizontal communication across the Group. This initiative is dedicated to enhancing cross-departmental cooperation and creating mutual benefits.
