YFH announces on behalf of YSIT a civil second instance judgment for damages against its former employee, Mr. Chiu

  4. Reciprocal shareholding ratios: 74.71%
  5. Cause of occurrence:
    (1) YSIT filed a lawsuit for damages with Taiwan Taipei District Court
    (¡§Court¡¨) in July 2022 against its former employee, Mr. Chiu, due to his
    breach of trust. The Court had rendered its civil instance judgment on
    March 22, 2024, and YSIT appealed the unfavorable portion of the judgment
    to Taiwan High Court.
    (2) YSIT is informed today that Taiwan High Court rendered a judgment,
    pursuant to which the former employee, Mr. Chiu, shall make a payment in
    an amount of NTD 14,130,120 and applicable legal interest to YSIT.
  6. Countermeasures:
    Upon receipt of the judgment, YSIT will discuss with the lawyers on whether
    to file an appeal.
