Yuanta FHC announces the FSC's sanction on subsidiary Yuanta Bank
  1. Date of occurrence of the event:2019/08/15
  2. Circumstances of the violation:Yuanta Bank was negligent on handling of IT information operations, resulting in the loss of some of the recorded data, which is lacking of the implementation of the internal control system and violated Article 45-1, paragraph 1, of the Banking Act.
  3. Amount of administrative fines:NTD2,000,000
  4. Status of the disposition by said competent authority:In accordance with the provisions of Article 129, subparagraph 7, of the Banking Act at the time the act was committed, the penalty is NTD2,000,000.
  5. Intended remedial measures:Yuanta Bank has reviewed all related procedures and has improved internal control system.
