Sound corporate governance is the core driver of a company’s sustainable operations. Yuanta Group adheres to the highest corporate governance standards in the financial industry and upholds integrity in management. This year (2026), Yuanta Group once again ranked among the top five percent (5%) in the Taiwan Stock Exchange’s (hereinafter referred to as the “TWSE”) twelfth Corporate Governance Evaluation, securing a leading position among 1,009 listed companies and 801 over-the-counter companies through outstanding performance. Yuanta FHC has received this honor for the tenth time, and Yuanta Futures has made the list for twelve consecutive years, making it the only futures company in Taiwan—and the only financial institution—to have won this award for so many consecutive years.
In the face of a rapidly changing political and economic environment, Yuanta FHC continues to promote the sound development of sustainable finance, improve the quality of audits and sustainability disclosures, actively engage with stakeholders, and strengthen the structure and operations of the board of directors. Independent directors account for more than 40% of the total board, and female directors make up more than one-third of the board. When including Yuanta Group’s domestic subsidiaries, as many as ten companies have female directors accounting for more than one-third of their boards. Yuanta FHC has implemented a policy of board diversity and has also received the “Outstanding Certification” from the Taiwan Corporate Governance Association’s “CG6014 (2023) Corporate Governance System Assessment.”
In terms of sustainable development strategy, Yuanta FHC vigorously aligns with the global net-zero trend. Yuanta FHC has been listed for seven straight years as a constituent of both the Dow Jones Best-in-Class (DJBIC) World Index and DJBIC Emerging Markets Index, and has been included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for seven years in a row, ranking in the top one percent (1%) worldwide in the group of Diversified Financial Services and Capital Markets four times.
Yuanta Futures has long been committed to corporate governance and has achieved remarkable results. Since May 31, 2024, it has remained a constituent of the MSCI Taiwan Small Cap Index, demonstrating its outstanding performance in integrity management and sustainable governance. Yuanta Futures will continue to uphold its core values of “strict compliance with laws, rigorous risk control, and sustainable operations.” We will actively strengthen corporate governance, enhance risk management mechanisms, and expand our presence in both domestic and international markets. By embedding ESG (environmental, social, and governance) principles deeply into our corporate DNA, we will continue to create a win-win situation that instills confidence in our customers, reassures our shareholders and employees, and work together toward new milestones in sustainable development, striving to become the most trusted futures broker in Asia.
