Yuanta Financial Holding Company’s (FHC) sustainability achievements have once again been recognized by international professional evaluations, with the company selected as a constituent stock for this year’s (2026) Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices (DJBIC). Yuanta FHC has been ranked in both the “World Index” and the “Emerging Markets Index” for seven consecutive years, firmly solidifying the position as a global sustainability benchmark in the financial industry and continues to lead Taiwanese companies toward sustainable net-zero goals.
The Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) are the world’s first international sustainable investment indices centered on ESG (environmental, social, and governance) criteria. They are one of the key indicators for evaluating corporate sustainability performance. In 2025, they were renamed the DJBIC. The core philosophy of the selection process is now more closely aligned with the index methodology, and only the top ten percent (10%) of companies in each industry are included in the Standard & Poor’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA).
Yuanta FHC has long been committed to the transition to net-zero, with five major subsidiaries achieving balanced growth in their respective industries. In this year's assessment, which covered issues such as risk & crisis management, policy influence, climate strategy, human rights, and financial inclusion, Yuanta FHC reached a score in the top one percent (1%) globally in the group of diversified financial services and capital markets, demonstrating outstanding performance. Yuanta FHC has made the highest Climate A List in the CDP environmental assessment for six years in a row and has maintained the Leadership level for eight straight years, becoming a leading example in the domestic financial industry. Continuing to exert influence in sustainable finance, Yuanta FHC’s three subsidiaries—Yuanta Securities, Yuanta Bank, and Yuanta Funds—collaborated to finalize engagements with high-carbon-emission industries, attaining a top 25% ranking in the Financial Supervisory Commission’s (FSC) third Sustainable Finance Evaluation, effectively promoting the low-carbon and net-zero transformation of industries.
As a member of the Coalition of Movers and Shakers on Sustainable Finance, Yuanta FHC is dedicated to strengthening the financial industry’s sustainable talent development system and practical capabilities. Together with the Securities and Futures Institute, Yuanta FHC serves as convener of the Empowerment and Certification Working Group under the Net-Zero Promotion Working Platform of the FSC. As of the first quarter of 2026, over 4,100 employees across the entire Yuanta Group had obtained the sustainable finance basic competency certification, driving the total number of certified professionals in Taiwan’s financial sector to exceed 50,000. This displays exceptional accomplishments in cultivating sustainable finance talent and advancing practical implementation.
