Amid the accelerating global trend toward sustainable governance, supply chain engagement has become a critical action for enterprises to strengthen resilience and improve ESG performance. Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) continues to advance sustainable procurement and supply chain governance, hosted the third supplier ESG exchange conference of the year (2025) on December 9. Centered on the theme “Strengthening Corporate Resilience and Information Security Governance,” the event featured presentations by the Information Security Advisory Team of Far EasTone Telecommunications’ Corporate and International Business Group and Yuanta Futures’ Information Department. Discussions explored global information security risks and emerging trends in sustainable management, and the conference also recognized outstanding suppliers for 2024.
Yuanta FHC constantly adapts the themes of the annual ESG exchange conferences to help suppliers align with emerging sustainability trends, tailoring invitations to specific topics. Over seven years, nearly a thousand companies have participated. This year’s first two supplier ESG exchange conferences focused on “E-Environment: Implementing Carbon Emissions Management” and “S-Social: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).” This conference emphasizes “G – Governance,” concentrating on two core issues: “Information Security Resilience” and “Risk Management.” Yuanta FHC convened suppliers with the goal of cross-enterprise practical exchange to collectively enhance supply chain information security defenses. The event commended outstanding suppliers for 2024, acknowledging partners’ contributions to sustainable governance and demonstrating Yuanta FHC’s determination to work with the supply chain to implement sustainable governance.
Given the financial industry’s heavy reliance on cross-market trading systems and real-time data processing, information security has become an indispensable component of risk management. Subsidiary Yuanta Futures specifically shared practical experience during the conference, covering aspects such as information security governance frameworks, threat detection, offensive-defensive drills, zero-trust architectures, trading system protection, and supply chain information security management. This initiative assists suppliers in grasping the latest information security trends and protection standards.
Supply chain governance resilience is key to corporate sustainability. Through annual evaluations, engagements, and continuous monitoring, Yuanta FHC drives ongoing improvements in suppliers’ governance capabilities, information security, and management transparency. Together with partners, we build a more stable, secure, and sustainable supply chain ecosystem.
