Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) firmly believes that employees are the most valuable assets of an enterprise, and adheres to the core value of “enhancing performance and promoting employee welfare” to build a safe, healthy, and inclusive workplace. With systematic health management strategies and rich and diverse employee care activities, Yuanta FHC and Yuanta Bank have both been awarded the Sports Enterprise Certification this year.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Sports encourages enterprises to promote sports and create a sustainable and healthy workplace environment. Since 2016, the Ministry has launched the Sports Enterprise Certification Program, which publicly awards certificates and recognizes qualified enterprises, with a three-year validity period for the certificates. Yuanta FHC and our five subsidiaries are certified as qualified enterprises for the purpose of protecting the physical and mental health of our employees.
In order to cultivate the concept of health, Yuanta FHC has started a series of courses covering topics such as stress relief, weight reduction, and outdoor challenges, and introduced technological fitness testing to help colleagues manage their health scientifically. Last year, the “Yuanta Earth Conservation Walkathon” walking event was held, which attracted nearly 700 enthusiastic participants and resulted in an accumulated total of more than 17,000 kilometers of walking, which is equivalent to a reduction of about 4.2 metric tons of carbon emissions, and thus achieving the win-win effect of both exercise and carbon reduction.
Yuanta Bank has recruited professional healthcare professionals and physical fitness coaches to create personalized health management programs for colleagues and has also launched the innovative “Passport to Good Health” bonus program, which has successfully motivated more than half of the challengers to maintain good health habits for over three months through a game-based bonus program, demonstrating the effectiveness of building a vibrant workplace culture.
