Guided by the belief that “public welfare is a continuous commitment to giving,” Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) and the Yuanta Cultural and Educational Foundation (Foundation)—with a focus on public welfare education—have been supporting our public welfare partners in realizing their dreams ever since launching the “Dream Big” Yuanta Social Service Dream-Fulfilling Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Dream Big Project”) in 2016. This year (2026), the Dream Big Project marks its tenth anniversary. The call for proposals is now officially open, and we warmly invite schools of all levels, nonprofit organizations, and social welfare groups across Taiwan to actively submit proposals. Together, through the “Dream Big” public welfare platform, we aim to promote social inclusion and sustainable development. To mark its tenth-anniversary milestone, this year’s Dream Big Project not only provides Dream Fulfilling Grants, corporate volunteers, and professional resources but has also specially organized the “Walking Together to Fulfill Dreams: Co-Creation Workshop.” The workshop brings together Dream-Fulfilling Groups from across Taiwan that have been deeply rooted in their communities over the years to exchange ideas. Through the sharing of experiences and resources, and cross-disciplinary dialogue, the workshop aims to transcend geographical and service-sector boundaries, foster collaboration and connections, and jointly build a sustainable educational public welfare ecosystem based on mutual support and shared well-being. Over the past decade, the Dream Big Project has helped 60 educational public welfare organizations realize their dreams, mobilizing nearly 12,000 volunteer participations from the Yuanta Group and accumulating almost 250,000 beneficiaries. The Project’s scope encompasses diverse fields such as children’s and youth education, companionship for seniors, empowerment of people with disabilities, environmental sustainability, arts education, community revitalization, and financial literacy. What has been amassed is not merely a set of statistics, but a warm, unifying force born from a group of people who believe in change and have the courage to take action. Yuanta FHC and the Yuanta Foundation sincerely invite passionate and creative partners in educational public welfare to join us in making dreams come true and to walk together on the path of public welfare for the greater good. Applications for this year’s Project are now open and will remain so until 12:00 p.m. on August 31, 2026. The Project is open to all, regardless of ethnicity, gender, age, or location. We welcome applications from any educational public welfare projects that help promote learning and development, enhance social adaptation skills, and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) and the Yuanta Cultural and Educational Foundation (Foundation) firmly believe that “every child deserves personalized care.” Staying true to this heartfelt mission, we organized the “Yuanta Happiness Day” event on June 27, 2026, inviting more than 60 students from Yuren Elementary School in Taoyuan City and Da-Nan Elementary School in Miaoli County to participate in a one-day ceramics culture program at the New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum. A specially tailored “Happiness Gift Pack” was prepared for each child, containing new shirts, pants, and shoes, to help the children enjoy a warm, memorable, and joyful time together during early summer. Education is the key to safeguarding children’s growth and shaping a better future. In keeping with our long-standing commitment to social welfare, the Yuanta Foundation has specially arranged an in-depth guided tour and hands-on experience at the Yingge Ceramics Museum. Through the museum’s rich collection of ceramic artworks and historical context, the program leads students to understand how clay, through the processes of creation and firing, transforms into exquisite ceramic works, and to gradually discover the distinctive features of Taiwan’s precious ceramic culture. This initiative not only helps children broaden their aesthetic horizons and sparks their interest in exploring traditional crafts, but also fosters an understanding of and connection to local culture through the hands-on experience of hand-painting ceramics. On the day of the event, a ceramics instructor was specifically invited to demonstrate the amazing art of the “traditional foot-powered potter’s wheel.” Since the students rarely have the opportunity to experience traditional ceramic arts in their daily lives, the hand-building technique filled their eyes with wonder and joy. The Yuanta Foundation stated that the Yuanta Happiness Day program has entered its fifteenth year, having organized 57 events, mobilized nearly 2,500 volunteers, and distributed more than 9,000 “Happiness Gift Packs” to date, showing our care and love for children through concrete actions. The Yuanta Foundation has long been committed to social welfare, extending our reach to every corner of Taiwan. Through diverse, enriching experiences and tangible material support, the Yuanta Foundation will continue to broaden the horizons and inspire the spirit of more students in remote and underprivileged areas, hoping that this dedicated care will encourage them to courageously pursue their own dreams.
