Yuanta FHC Wins Taiwan Top 10 Sustainable Model Enterprise Award & Group Receives 8 TCSA Awards

The results of the fifteenth (15th) Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards in 2022 have been announced. Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) won the Taiwan Top 10 Sustainable Model Enterprise Award (Service Industry Category), Platinum Award for Financial and Insurance Industry Sustainability Report, Climate Leadership Award, Social Inclusion Leadership Award, and Creative Communication Leadership Award. Yuanta Securities received Talent Development Leadership Award, and Yuanta Funds obtained Growth through Innovation Leadership Award and Talent Development Leadership Award. The Yuanta Group captured a total of eight (8) awards and was highly recognized for our sustainability performance.

Yuanta FHC is committed to sustainability, from directors of the board to employees. We were selected as one of the “Top 10 Sustainable Model Enterprises in Taiwan (Service Industry Group)” and ranked among the top ten percent (10%) of the 100 companies participating in the competition. We converge with domestic and international sustainability standards and were also awarded the Platinum Award for Sustainability Report in the financial and insurance industry, the highest honor of this category in the competition, for our complete and transparent disclosure of sustainability-related information, annual verification by an international third-party organization, and active response to the expectations of stakeholders.

In the face of climate change and net-zero transformation, Yuanta FHC has made three sustainability commitments – net-zero carbon emissions, sustainable finance, and talent cultivation - and is following Yuanta Group’s sustainable development strategy roadmap, adjusting the pace of implementation on a rolling basis, and taking a benchmark and leading position in the society as a whole.

At the level of social inclusion, Yuanta FHC has been able to match resources and call for volunteers to participate in. In 2016, Yuanta launched the “‘Dream Big’ Yuanta Social Service Dream-Fulfilling Project” to support small and medium-sized non-profit organizations that are not highly recognized in the community and organizations that have dreams and values such as education and practice, with the belief of “lighting up the light of hope for the disadvantaged in remote areas with limited resources.” Yuanta has strung together a public welfare ecosphere, and for six consecutive years, we have joined hands with 30 social welfare organizations to realize their dreams and build a more solid social safety net, benefiting more than 57,000 number of persons.
