Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) is committed to achieving the 2050 net-zero emissions target and is strengthening management of climate and nature-related risks. Yuanta FHC’s 2025 Climate and Nature-Related Financial Disclosure Report (TCFD Report) has received the highest “Level 5+ (Excellence)” certification from the British Standards Institution’s (BSI) compliance audit for the fourth consecutive year, fully aligning with the indicators of the “International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) S2 Climate-Related Disclosures,” and demonstrating Yuanta FHC’s commitment to transparency and completeness in information disclosure. To advance low-carbon transition, Yuanta FHC has actively implemented a range of measures—including adopting ISO management systems, establishing smart energy monitoring mechanisms, and purchasing green electricity—to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational carbon emissions. By 2025, greenhouse gas emissions had been reduced by nearly 30 percent compared to the baseline year of 2020, reaching the Science Based Targets (SBT) interim target ahead of schedule. By coordinating five major subsidiaries to jointly promote sustainable financial products and services, the scale of related business has exceeded NT$1.97 trillion. Yuanta FHC continues to expand impact in sustainable finance, concretely fulfilling low-carbon commitments while supporting corporate operational growth. As a member of the Coalition of Movers and Shakers on Sustainable Finance of Taiwan’s Financial Supervisory Commission, Yuanta FHC is primarily responsible for the “Empowerment and Certification Working Group,” collaborating with industry, government, and research institutions to promote professional certification in sustainability. As of the first half of this year (2026), more than 60,000 people across Taiwan have obtained the certificate of basic competency for sustainable finance. Yuanta Group’s certification rate stands at 35%, meaning that on average, one out of every three employees has obtained the certification, highlighting Yuanta Group’s commitment to and achievements in cultivating professional capabilities in sustainable finance. Yuanta FHC has introduced a number of employee benefits that exceed regulatory requirements, emphasizing employee health and well-being by providing annual health checkups. We support our employees in starting families and having healthy children by offering 70 days of paid maternity leave, eight days of paid prenatal checkup leave, and ten days of paid paternity leave for accompanying partners to prenatal checkups and for childbirth. Guided by the belief that “public welfare is a continuous commitment to giving,” Yuanta Financial Holding Company (FHC) and the Yuanta Cultural and Educational Foundation (Foundation)—with a focus on public welfare education—have been supporting our public welfare partners in realizing their dreams ever since launching the “Dream Big” Yuanta Social Service Dream-Fulfilling Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Dream Big Project”) in 2016. This year (2026), the Dream Big Project marks its tenth anniversary. The call for proposals is now officially open, and we warmly invite schools of all levels, nonprofit organizations, and social welfare groups across Taiwan to actively submit proposals. Together, through the “Dream Big” public welfare platform, we aim to promote social inclusion and sustainable development. To mark its tenth-anniversary milestone, this year’s Dream Big Project not only provides Dream Fulfilling Grants, corporate volunteers, and professional resources but has also specially organized the “Walking Together to Fulfill Dreams: Co-Creation Workshop.” The workshop brings together Dream-Fulfilling Groups from across Taiwan that have been deeply rooted in their communities over the years to exchange ideas. Through the sharing of experiences and resources, and cross-disciplinary dialogue, the workshop aims to transcend geographical and service-sector boundaries, foster collaboration and connections, and jointly build a sustainable educational public welfare ecosystem based on mutual support and shared well-being. Over the past decade, the Dream Big Project has helped 60 educational public welfare organizations realize their dreams, mobilizing nearly 12,000 volunteer participations from the Yuanta Group and accumulating almost 250,000 beneficiaries. The Project’s scope encompasses diverse fields such as children’s and youth education, companionship for seniors, empowerment of people with disabilities, environmental sustainability, arts education, community revitalization, and financial literacy. What has been amassed is not merely a set of statistics, but a warm, unifying force born from a group of people who believe in change and have the courage to take action. Yuanta FHC and the Yuanta Foundation sincerely invite passionate and creative partners in educational public welfare to join us in making dreams come true and to walk together on the path of public welfare for the greater good. Applications for this year’s Project are now open and will remain so until 12:00 p.m. on August 31, 2026. The Project is open to all, regardless of ethnicity, gender, age, or location. We welcome applications from any educational public welfare projects that help promote learning and development, enhance social adaptation skills, and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
